What is it?


Pilates is a low impact exercise program designed to strengthen muscles while improving flexibility and postural alignment.


While we will focus on core exercises (abdominals, back, hips, shoulders, inner and out thighs) you can expect Pilates to help you do everything better. Strengthening you core can help you to move better in life.

What is it?

SIZZLE: Low impact cardio intervals designed to activate your fast twitch muscle fibers, raise your heart rate and burn calories


CHISEL: Body weight and band resistance exercises to build muscular endurance and ignite your metabolism.


CHILL: Bring it all back down with a relaxing stretch and mobility series to bring your hormone levels back in balance

What is it?


Strong & Steady We will begin with a full ​body warm up, followed by mobility work ​design to help you move better in life.


Next we will shift to stability and slow and ​controlled strength work to improve ​muscle tone and balance.


Finally we'll end with a relaxing stretch to ​leave you feeling energized and refreshed.

Hi, I'm Tani

I've been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 25 years. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.Ed. in Health Education. I am the creator of Curvy Girl Weight Loss where I help women unlearn decades of bad diet advice and instead focus on simple nutrition, gentle fitness, and behavior shifts to transform your body and your life.


I’ve created a fun and effective workout program, designed to give you a full body, functional workout. We will incorporate resistance bands and body weight strength training, with low-impact but high intensity cardio exercises to raise your heart rate and ignite your metabolism, then we’ll finish off with stretching and mobility work to bring you back to down.

What is Sizzle, chisel & chill?

A full body torcher

This class was built with women in mind! What do women need? To build muscle. What do women want? To burn fat. I decided to give you both in one convenient class. We will spend the first part of class on targeted strength moves for your large muscle groups. Then we will spend time bring your heart rate up for low impact interval training. I’ll leave you feeling amazing after a full body stretch and recovery session.

Do I need equipment?

All you need is a mat

Both classes will use body weight exercises as well as resistance bands that I will provide. The only equipment you will need to bring is your mat, and ideally a water bottle.

Is it safe for beginners?

Absolutely

As an experienced trainer I have extensive knowledge in scaling exercises for many abilities. I will guide you through different modifications to make the exercises both more difficult and more manageable. You will need to be able to get up and down from the floor. As always, clearance from your doctor to exercise is recommended.

Will there be jumping?

only if you want to!

I know not everyone is comfortable jumping, so I always make any jumping optional and will offer choices in the program design. The main focus I have in every class is to give you a great workout, and to make sure you are safe and injury free!

what if I can only come once in a while?

Drop ins might be available

If you can't commit to the entire session you are welcome to join us at the drop-in rate of $15 per class. Drop-ins can be purchased at the time of the class as space is available, it's recommended that you call or text Tani at 716.467.7011 to inquire about space.
